I doubt it, they are protected are they not?

Either way, slightly odd that your concern is for the Polar Bear and not the young lad.

Even protected animals are put down if they attack a human.

Yea? It's sad, yes. But we treat as if we're all god, and animals are nothing but resources.

But I'm not gonna get into that. I just hope they didn't kill the bear.

They did kill the bear, if you click on the link I posted you'll see its corpse being dragged away.

Terrible story; poor kid....but at 17 you would hardly think he needs anyone to teach him about wild animals.
