I love ska. I've recently been getting back into it a little with my ancient Specials CDs and I've been into the Pietasters lately as well.

In my opinion, theirs was the best era of ska.

Specials, Beat, Madness, Selector, etc.

And kind of a nostalgic slice of the music pie for me, because my high school was really into it a the time they were coming out with their singles and albums.

If you like them, you probably like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Slackers. Two other present day ska bands that sound more like two-tone era ska than the "ska-punk" sound of nineties ska (Sublime, 311, etc).

I do like the slackers a lot...kind of in the same vein as the pietasters and hepcat (two other great bands).

Never got much into the Bosstones, but around that same time I did like Reel Big Fish!
