hi there,

Lung cancer is a condition wherein there is the abnormal growth of tumor to the lungs causing the lung cancer cell to spread. When the diagnose cancer cells are truly from the lungs then it is considered as primary lung cancer. On the hand, when the cancer cells originated from different parts of the body and carried by blood or other fluids then it is metastatic cell. Lung cancer is consider as the primary causes of death on both women and men population.
Lung cancer cannot immediately diagnose due to non-occurrence of any symptoms and when diagnose the cancer cells already spread and the condition is severe. Patients who are experiencing constant cough, coughing with blood and shorten of breathe must consult to a doctor for early findings of their health problem.
Different methods can be done to diagnose primary or metastatic cells which can lead to lung cancer. Chest X-ray, CT (Computed Tomography) Scan, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging to identify lung tumor. A confirmation regarding to the patient’s condition whether can be further realize thru a biopsy, in which a slice of tissue from the patient is needed to examine if it contains fluid with protein which is exact to tumor cells. The doctor may determine the stage of the patient’s condition depending on the size of the tumor and how severe it causes to his body.
Surgical operation is basically one step to remove the tumor cells. If the patient’s condition was diagnosed earlier then he can undergo the lobectomy, wherein the surgeon removes the lobe of the lungs of the patient. For a successful operation, the surgeon not only removes the tumor also eradicate those minuscule traces of the disease in the patient’s tissue.
Another is the radiation therapy or the radiotherapy, in which the presence of radiation will diminished the cancer ells inside the body particularly the lungs. Conventional radiation therapy involves transportation of wide beam radiation that covers the tumor and significant amount of well tissues. Chemotherapy is use when cancers are located all throughout the patient’s body or through his blood and fluids. This is done in combination with radiation therapy or surgery. The patient may experience the side effects of it such as vomiting, nausea, and weigh loss.
Today another medical procedure is recommended to cure lung cancer. The radiosuregery is the treatment of lung cancer forgoes without any surgical procedure and the doctor will locate the tumor as the patient breathes normally. This is recommended for those patients who don’t want to undergo surgery.
