No, I like giving kudos to a post that is thoughtful, funny or informative. I think most people enjoy seeing that there post was appreciated, and that won't happen as much for some if you only get one a day.
I think 15 is a decent number. Many sites with this feature it is unlimited, so I don't think reducing it to '1' makes much sense.
I agree; Besides, the new people can't give kudos until a certain amount of points, and until someone gives them at least one kudo first.
Under what jmo's proposing, I doubt many people would give up their one and only kudo...
The post would have to be pretty special.
