It has to be the Town or City, people know Towns and Cities, where as if you said a hospital they would look at you all dumb like then you would have to say it's in such and such a place

Also, the upper east part of America here is referred as "New England," and there are a lot of people that say New England... I was confused at first, because I didn't' know that, i thought they were talking about the country and found out I was wrong.

Actually, Greenwich is in Connecticut on the New York border.. But I wouldn't expect someone from the UK to know anything about US geography. and you get a pass because you're from Florida.

There are lots of towns named Greenwich especially on the East Coast. But the one most commonly identified with New York is in Connecticut, just over the border. It's a very affluent suburb of NYC, about 40 minutes from midtown on the commuter trains.
