All expense paid vacations?

What the f*** are you talking about? I'm f***ing sick as s*** of people spouting their mouths off about s*** they don't understand. They're paying for hotels and motels out of their pockets. They're not filing expense reports for this s***.

If using campaign funds is considered "out of their own pockets......"

It is. Furthermore, there's no evidence any of them are doing that.

Yes, they *can* use campaign funds, and it's perfectly ethical. That's a very different thing than the state picking up the tab. Not only is there no indication that any of them are actually using campaign funds, there's nothing wrong with using campaign funds.

Your article even says they've managed to raise much more money in campaign funds than their trips cost them.

That's all? Somehow I expected Governors to have bigger paychecks. Then again, I think the President's paid too little too.

Plus a car, and a house. Sounds like welfare to me!

A house to live in only while he's governor. Same with the car. It's not like he's just given a house and a car.

Welfare- at least we know it's for a short time.

The governor also has an entire office full of assistants and staff, every single one of whom costs more than the car he uses.

I think it all comes down to the Gov using his politics to bust the union even after the union agreed to the changes he proposed and yet the Gov mention's being in the same boat cutback wise when in reality he enjoys many benefits that will not take a hit.

If the money is considered out of their own pockets , why would they need to ask if they could use the campaign funds ?

Now, it turns out at least one of the fleeing Democrats asked the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board, the state's key interpreter of campaign and ethics laws, for an opinion on whether Democrats can use campaign funds to pay their expenses in exile. The Board said yes.
