I love it when you're eating a jam donut and you're thinking, "man, they've been really stingy on the jam..." and then you find a hidden reserve of extra jam. A veritable reservoir of sweetie goodness.

I like the jammie ones, but here in Ireland we also call them doughnuts, but if the middle is cut out of them we call them gravy rings. Same thing only no middle bit.

DEEP FRIED DOUGHNUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 pkg. Pillsbury biscuits
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
Oil for frying

Prepare oil in deep fryer. Poke hole in center of each biscuit. Gently drop biscuit into hot oil with tongs. Brown both sides of doughnut. Doughnuts will become large and fluffy. Remove doughnuts from oil and roll them in sugar/cinnamon mixture. Let cool and enjoy.
