Damn, I'm glad I quit when I did...
I was up to 2 packs a day, was coughing and gagging in the mornings, house smelled like an ashtray.Grandson had/has Asthma...I finally came to my senses, and said, "f*** THIS s***"!!! I threw them down, never looked back, and this has been over four years ago!
Cold turkey.
If I can do it, ANYONE CAN, including YOU!
But, I agree, smoker's rights are being trampled on...to many anti smoking laws are draconian, nitpicking pieces of legislation that make no sense at all.
Who ever heard of bars being smoke free?
Tobacco shops being smoke free.
No smoking within 20 feet from the front door of a restaurant, on the SIDE WALK.

I can remember as a kid my dad would pull into a smoke shop on the resservation and send one of us kids in with a dollar bill to gey him a pack of smokes, he would get a pack and .55 centas back in change.

I remember when I was buying a pack for thirty five cents...

The cheapest I remember them is 3 packs for $5. lol

I think packs were $3 when I started in the States.
