My best friend died because of the lack of donors, she'd be still alive now if she had the heart and lung she needed. Holby City got me mad that time when you had to vote who got the heart and lungs, and i wrote a letter to them!

Okay, I'm confuzzed about this Holby City thing. I recall you mentioning it in another thread recently.

Holby City is a t.v. show? Is this a reality show? I was assuming soap opera type t.v. drama or something.

So, this show (from what I'm gathering thus far) had real-life individuals who needed an organ donated, but they only got it if someone voted for them to have it?!

Ok correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought in the UK that even if you're registered the hospital STILL need your next of kins agreement after your death...

So if your friend carries the card in secret and her parents refuse after her death it won't be any good anyway.

I donated one of my kidneys to my brother as he had no kidneys and was going to die, I had the tests done and I was 100% match , he is now very fit and well

I dont have a card

Jehovah's Witnesses ARE considered Christians. They are simply one denomination of the Christian faith.

Ooooooooooh! But these people were NOT real and did NOT really need a transplant. You're simply voting on whether or not a character got it, not a real person. Personally, it wouldn't bother me then - it's a t.v. show. Voting gives the viewers a choice to control what they want to see to influence the program.
