Yeah sounds like it's time for amazon.

i don't know how a store can justify 18 pounds for a pre-owned dvd

I love Amazon! I spend hours looking at all the stuff I can't afford! I think it's really got it's act together when it comes to delivery costs in general, I hardly ever have to pay for delivery at all now and all my deliveries have been prompt and correct and the reviews and alternate ideas come in handy!

Totally with you on that one, it's the same with pre owned DS games, I looked at one yesterday..?16..it was only ?20 new!

I know. It's ridiculous what some of them charge. Took me months to buy Stargate Continuum because it cost so much. Ark of Truth was about ?10. The cheapest I saw Continuum was ?15 and that was new. Pre-owned is nearly always a little fingerprinted and scratched.




The last time I went with guaranteed delivery it arrived 26 hours after it was guaranteed to come. Wasn't happy about that but I think they changed delivery company.

and the price of games has gone up again they came down to 29.99 to 35 for a top title now there 35-45 here which i think is to much
although i did manage to snatch a new copy of smackdown vs raw 2011 for
25 pounds from blockbusters just proves it doesn't hurt to do the foot work

Definately not. The games I got from Amazon were about ?20 each. I'm pretty sure that in store they're all about ?30-35. But I'm bored and this back thing could go on for a while so at least they'll keep me busy for a while.

I hate that. There's no reason to charge so much.

There are a couple of things I picked up last night that I was going to order from Amazon instead. I am now very glad I did not risk it since we don't have much time left and snow is imminent in many areas near me. I normally have good luck with Amazon, but ya never know this close in!
