...could a socialist believe someone is above his/her station. I can't believe he's still trying to prove that there's a conspiracy against him which even his best friend was in on. BBC News

Why are Scottish socialists in the public eye such w**kers? You've got Tommy Sheridan or George Galloway. Could you find two bigger w**kers in the entire country?

Exactly. They both went into politics for the attention. One got all the attention one could possibly want and the other is so desperate for attention he attatches himself to any cause that's going. No wonder I dislike all politicians as a general rule

It's annoying. I'm more left than most politicians but the politicians who are on the left I just can't stand.

I agree.

Many of the politicians that come out of Scotland seem to have the knack of completely screwing up their image in one way or another.

Which is a shame really, because the Scots politicians are some of the most passionate there are.

I think Scottish Politicians are quite good (Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Michael Gove, Danny Alexander etc). It's just the socialist ones which are s***.

I just love political infighting...it helps keep folks from seeing the truly shady dealings that happen under the surface.

This almost destroyed the Scottish Socialist Party which was a shame If he'd told the truth right from the start he might have lost his constituency but the party wouldn't have suffered so much

I know. I just particularly hate this one. I liked the SSP and I'd probably still vote for them but it's telling that after this scandal they lost all their seats in the Scottish Parliament which was really disappointing
