That's kinda silly. Why do you have to wait until you're 35 before you can run for president? They can't trust a 34 year old in office?

Ummm....I don't know why. That's just how it is. Maybe it's our median age or something. I'll try to find out.

Well, that was uninformative. The basic answer was "Because the Constitution says so" (it does).

There were some ideas offered, such as, 18 year olds haven't been alive long enough to obtain the political knowledge needed to be the president.

Canada's is weird. You can be elected if your 18 years old, but you have to wait until you're 30 to have an actual seat in the Senate and you need to own land in whichever province you're representing as well as a house.

Psh! Lady Gaga, as you can see by glimpsing at my photo, is one of my favorite artists. Although she has imense music talent, she could never be the president. Voters in our country would not vote for a bi sexual woman. As much as I would like to see her become our president - she has not the education, knowledge, or experience to do so.

It's already been mentioned that she's not eligible to run until 2024. Don't you think that she could gain the education, knowledge and experience in 14 years?

I'm going to leave aside the bisexual woman comment, because society does change and you never know. 14 years is long enough that the demographics of the voters could change drastically. Heck, my daughter will be old enough to vote then.
