Can you guys hand out samples to TFS around christmastime!?

Just a picture will do, we'll drool and imagine.

Sure, If they are TFS appropriate. Actually. I might have a few pictures from the May party. There are a few TFSers out there that can vouch for them though.

Though, I might do a halloween set, there is a party at work. It is currently up for debate if they want catchiladas or gory chocolate molds.

Funny little side thought. Dirty Jobs just came on and it made me think when he went to the chocolatier. I don't think people realize just how messy chocolate can be.

So the chocolate lollies, are they chocolate on a lollipop stick? How big do you make them?

Oh I know, there is chocolate everywhere when I make it, it seems easy enough, but It gets all over the table, the counter, me.

Yes, they are shaped chocolate on a stick, most of the shapes I have are smaller than 2x2 inches. but I do have a couple that are almost 6inches long, its like a candy bar on a stick. Those require longer and thicker sticks of course. and some I fill with peanut butter or caramal, those I don't always use the stick, sometimes stick insertion can mix the center too much, or it wont hold as well. i have better luck with paper sticks than plastic ones.

Damn that sounds good.

I saw once on Julia Child this guy that was making chocolate cups. He blew up balloons and dipped them in the melted chocolate. I thought that was uber cool so I wanted to try it. Problem was that I didn't let the chocolate cool long enough. POP POP POP!

I was cleaning chocolate off the cupboards, ceiling and walls up to a year later.
