What would happen if I fried an egg thats still in it's shell?

o.o Just popped into my head.
I was thinking in a frying pan, but a deep frier would probably work better.

o.o so, what the hell would happen?
WIll the shell blacken or brown? will it explode and cause a fire? will the shell be edible? would it be edible but taste horrible? are egg shells edible raw? WOuld it be as delicious as everything elese when it's deep fried?


(I have four hard boiled eggs in the fridge, I will not be attempting this)

probably wouldnt be a good idea, unless you like hot egg all over your face

itd blow up, and probably burn.
