The Koala lives in Australia. It is up to 0.6-0.9 m long, weighing 4.5-13.5 kg. The soft fur is light-gray to brown, and has white patches on the chest, neck and ears. This fur keeps them from cold weather and rain. They have strong feet and hands, so they can hold the trees they live in.
A mother koala keeps her baby safe and warm. When the baby is very young, it stays in its mom?s pocket.
Koalas spend most of their time in trees. They eat leaves. Loalas have a good sense of smell. They can make sure whether the leaves are delicious or not.
A baby koala starts to climb trees by itself when it is nine months old. After a long time of eating and climbing, the little koala is ready to sleep. It curls up in a tree to rest. It spends 18 to 20 hours each day resting and sleeping.

You forgot to mention this

"The young koala drinks only mother's milk for the first six to seven months.
At about 30 weeks, it begins to feed upon a substance called "pap" which the mother produces in addition to milk. Pap is a specialized form of droppings, which forms an important part of the young koala's diet, allowing it to make the transition from milk to eucalyptus leaves.
Pap is soft and runny. It allows the mother to pass on micro-organisms from her digestive system.
The young koala continues to take milk from its mother until it is about a year old, but as it can no longer fit in the pouch, the mother's teat elongates to protrude from the pouch opening.
Eventually young koala begins to feed upon fresh leaves as it rides on mother's back."

I love koala bears, they look adorable. I'd never get too close to one though.

I am looking high & low for koala collectors. My mom just passed away & she has this CRAZY collection of koalas - I'm talking thousands of them. If you know anybody who is interested, please contact me!
