Actually I think mine has improved due to forum usage. I do not use a spellchecker except on work documents. On here or anything I do except work, I try to get it right and if I doubt the spelling of a word, then I look it up with dictionary.com. More than not I am correct when I do.
But have you ever just looked at a word and went, that's not right but then it is?

OK, how many words did I misspell? 10, 20?

Silly avatar...I didn't think you were the one who said that.

Yes really, my friend named his cat ...something like that. It could be spelled that way, but it's pronounced me-wrow...the sound a cat makes.

Yes, that has been happening to me alot, I will look at words that are spelled right and say, "that just doesn't look right!" lol

I'm normally an excellent speller; just things have been happening lately!

It is totally normal in life to have ups and downs. Everyone does it in one way or another. Just when we really question what we are doing is when we usually get better.

So if you looked back on your posts in this thread I bet you will find you have improved. You made yourself do it!

Sometimes I find the simplest words can throw you off,things like "put",I know that sounds odd,but how many times has it happened to you?your typing away and the mind for some reason decides to go blank

Staying online has improved my English remarkably. Of course, it depends on the situation in which you use English, but I have always been one to write proper English, rarely use "Internet abbreviations" or similar

I think my spelling has gotten so much better. Of course i do have spell check, but i find myself spelling the word the next time right. My speed of typing has gotten so much better also because of this site.

Sometimes...that is why I find myself relying on spell checker more and more.
I am seriously thinking of going over to a speech recognition program if it gets much worse!
