No I'm never that comfortable to fall asleep on the sofa. I fall asleep loads watching TV but that's in my room.

When I'm watching tv late at night, and especially when what's on isn't that appealing, I get drowsy very quickly and very nearly fall asleep. But somehow my mind never lets me into even that shallow sleep stage. I always have a mind to go to the bedroom for proper sleep.

Occasionally I fall asleep on the sofa when I've got so tired that I can't be bothered to go upstairs to bed. Once I couldn't get comfortable on the sofa but only had the energy to get as far as the living room floor and went to sleep there!

I can never sleep on the sofa but I think that's more to do with my mum waking me up to talk than being uncomfortable.

All the time, when my man works and my roommate isn't on the couch.
I love it. It's very comfortable to me. I've done it since I was little tho.

A lot of my friends find it really easy to fall asleep on the sofa while watching TV. If I get that tired I just always go to bed and besides I find it hard to sleep with the TV on.

Do you fall asleep on the sofa often?

All the time! TV bores me to sleep! Now if you were snuggled up to me on the couch I'm sure I'd stay awake... for a while anyway...

Only a few times when I was a kid; but always some loud mouth on the tube would wake me, so I didn't much do it then either.

As an adult, I can't get comfy there for sleeping either, so just head off to bed.

I can't remember ever falling asleep on the sofa, my dad is a different story. He can fall asleep half way through a conversation while laid on the sofa.

I can fall asleep anywhere... If I were to close my eyes at this second... I could probably fall asleep right here and you would seee fdjkl;assssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

But I didn't... that was like a test of the emergency jorie falling asleep broadcast system.

That just brought back a fun memory.

I used to play an online role playing game and there was an ongoing joke about one of our friends who'd fallen asleep while playing. His character ran around in circles for hours! After that, it would just come up randomly "Hey, remember that time that Bob fell asleep in PoK?"

I too, can fall asleep anywhere. Usually it's in the car. Most often, I'm not driving.

The other night, I fell asleep watching Everybody Loves Hypnotoad (in bed though). I would have slept right through it having totally weird dreams if my husband hadn't asked me to turn it off.

Oh...and my dad tells me that my mom's mother once fell asleep standing in line for a bus.
