The difference is the taste.

A free range farm is more humane as the animals get to live happier lives before they die.

The quality of life the animal has directly effects the taste of the meat.

That's why hunting is so popular.

In fact most people who hunt that I know do it for the taste and don't particularly like the "sport" aspect of it.

They wouldn't even hunt if the could legally buy it.

They just past a law in my town last year where first nations can sell certain game meat legally but only 2 months out of the year.

Because those animals aren't farmed, they live freely in there natural environment and that's why "game" meat tastes the best.

It's also why Kobe beef is so perfectly marbled and so expensive.

I can see the documentaries point of view but still the animals do have better quality of life before death on an all natural free range farm.
