And, back on topic..
If it were a bunch of Black people, or Middle Eastern people??
How would it have been perceived?

My thread title is from the daily Kos, which is where I got the quote.. And there's no corrections here, sadly for you, because this is about perceptions and opinions, not about your little nit picky facts and figures..
And, you'll notice that I also said that I pulled a blog piece because both the major outlets would have been far to partisan to be realistic, so I thought an opinion piece would be fairer, because it's presented as an OPINION piece.
Hate to have to "correct" you... but you needed it.
Now... You want to answer the question or not?
I think that the answer is going to be that you don't want to answer.. because you know how it would have been perceived if it was a bunch of non-white people doing it.

I post based on facts, and posting the links to different news outlets gives readers several options within which to form an opinion. You stand corrected.
As to your original question, it already occurred back in 2000.

Difference between the two, the Second Amendment marchers carried their guns because they are in favor of the Second Amendment. The Black Panthers carried guns because its legal.
Both groups used it as a form of intimidation.
I don't care if you're green and have purple hair, if its legal to carry a gun during a march/demonstration, then its legal.

There are no facts you stupid nottie cow.. This is a "WHAT IF" thread, not a facts based one.. so you fail..
And as to my original question, you fail again because there was no tea party back in 2000..
Double nottie fail. And yes, another negative kudo, simply because you piss me off.
If this is an opinion thread, you will see I also gave my opinion, which is: "I don't care if you're green and have purple hair, if its legal to carry a gun during a march/demonstration, then its legal."
Your question: "If it were a bunch of Black people, or Middle Eastern people??
How would it have been perceived?"
I posted an article and photo re: the Black Panthers protesting, while carrying AK-47s, at the Republican Convention in Texas in 2000. It barely got a mention in the MSM. People weren't freaking out.
