For me as an Englishmen, it was Blair who brought the terror threat to our doorstep. I hate Blair, but he followed Bush, bush led the world to conflict.

I can only speak for my own feelings, and admittedly, I don't follow politics hardly at all; but I was getting up the morning of Sept. 11th and saw the attacks to the twin towers on t.v. with my own eyes..
one does not, and will not, forget something like that, ever!
Something 'had' to be done about it, and Iam so glad that Bush took action as quickly as he did, and sent our troops over there..

However, I feel it's time for our men and women to come out of there; we've stood up for ourselves enough, and helped out enough as well..
it's time to come home.

But there were no 9/11's BEFORE it either...so using that logic, you could also say that HE CAUSED it, as it happened while he was in power.....
