Summer Rain

Watching in the darkness
as the rain, hits the ground below.
And the tiny droplets of water
trickling down the window.
Beating down harder, - and harder
flooding the earth and the streets.
Cool, clean rain, in the summer..
The essence, refreshing, and sweet.
..-as the rose bush beneath my window
the rain, it helps it to grow.
In so very, 'many' ways
'I' am much like a rose.
Needing, proper nourshing
and tender, loving care;
So, that 'I too'
might oneday, return 'my share'..
To the person of whom, I recieve it..
And together, we will remain..
Two roses growing, side by side
in the faling summer rain.

Pretty and true. Since we live near each other you can't be talking about the rain we got yesterday and today. I love the soft rain in spring.
