Childhood Friends

When we were little people,
younger - than today,
life, was fun and carefree.
Things came, the easy way.

We climbed trees, and monkey bars -
got in one fight, and never again...
Through all the ups and downs
of our childhood -
we remained to be, good friends..

We taught each other, lessons of love -
hate, and jealousy.
No one else, yet, has become closer
to my heart, than you have, to me.

For yours, is a valued friendship.
One I 'hope', will never end.
For 'yours', goes back to my childhood -
the 'best kind', of friend!

Now it doesn't say no, it says-spread some kudos around. When I'm tired I'm "Informative". My best friend in the world could blackmail me but wouldn't. Those friends of our youth are true treasures.

True, however; the person this was writen for is no longer a friend..don't think she ever was.lol

The line where I say, "no one else yet, has become closer to my heart, than you have to me"..used to be "to my heart than you have Dee"..but I changed it.

That's a risk you always take but it's worth it.
