end all political parties, have an elected parliament of independents, would that work to make the system fairer?

I don't think it would and it wouldn't work in the UK anyway. At the moment the position of Prime Minister is given to the leader of the party with the most seats in Parliament. Unless we brought in a new system where the PM was elected seperately then it wouldn't work.

vote for anyone except the Conservatives.

There, it's official - buffalobill90 says vote BNP

But I'd say to you, vote LibDem. You like Labour, but they're flawed and they've f***ed the country up big time. From your posts I'd say you were definately to the liberal left, and anyway, even if you wanted to, it's pointless voting conservative in Scotland. As for nationalists, I don't care if like the SNP they claim to be socialist, underneath nationalism has a nasty undertone

I'd say green party, then again the my area is so firmly conservative that there's really no point voting for anyone except a pressure party, unless you vote conservative and i'd rather be beat to death with my own leg

I would vote, but Plaid Cymru isn't contesting in Rutland!

Hilaritas!
