My screen keeps going off

If the connection is not loose, it could be that someone has tinkered with your screen-saver, or power-saver settings, causing the screen to go blank after a very short period of keyboard activity! If you are sitting in front of the monitor, sipping on a bit of whiskey, it might not even occur to you that someone else is tinkering with your mind!
