i think this is the exact reason why this career is so hard to succeed in... same for music, and theatre...

its nearly impossible to just for the fact that so many people consider themselves "artists"...myself included

well, technically, anybody is an artist, as long as they create art...
the defenition of an artist is as follows:
"One, such as a painter, sculptor, or writer, who is able by virtue of imagination and talent or skill to create works of aesthetic value, especially in the fine arts."

Ebay maybe or etsy.com or maybe just try google.

I want a free version of photo shop. If that's even possible.

I've recently found s ite called Redbubble that looks like a good place to try display your work and hopefully sell some of it. I've attached a link to the site were I've put my own work. I hope this helps get you going in the right direction. Good luck.

I'm not sure if you can purchase and sell stuff on there, but deviantART might be a good place https://www.deviantart.com/

Etsy.com . It's not just for art but it's just for hand made (and vintage) things.

There's DeviantArt.com -- you post some pictures of art you've made and either sell prints, or you can sell the originals. I even know some people who got commissions through the site.

Oh, try artyii.com. Many young artists become big time in their career with the help of artyii.
