Previous decades have been called the 80's 90's and 'Noughties' what will people be calling the next decade? The Teenies?

My sister and I were talking about this the other day! We're thinking either "the tens" or "the tennies" but we will see!

I think before the 20's they just said the full thing and called it the 1910's. Not sure cause I wasn't alive then lol

I heard some someone say the elevenses...but i dont think it was serious.

In the 2000's I believe. That's what its referred to now.

Next year, the next ten years would be like the "twenty-ten's"

"twenty-twenties"
"twenty-thirties"

and so on...

I could be completely wrong.
