No, it doesn't spin because its mass is so low and it's so close that it is tidally locked to Earth, i.e. the same side is always facing Earth. Most moons in our solar system are tidally locked to their planets, I think. You're right that it probably comes from Earth, though. That's the best-supported theory, at any rate.

The moon isn't hollow; it's so heavy it would collapse on itself.

Christ didn't know about epiphytic orchids and therefore wasn't omniscient/part of the Trinity/The Son of God and just human.
