I was wondering if it was possible to spin an object so that it constantly increased speed without any force being applied to it besides its spinning motion.

There would have to be no friction or gravity...

No.
In theory with no gravity (eg space), an object could spin at a preset speed,
and would never slow down as there would be no external forces acting upon
it. However to increase speed, an external force would be required.

Well, no, but... i do sorta belive it. if there was No gravety, No friction, No airpressure. and you had an extremely fast spin. than maybie. but, i don't think thats posible Hey, things constantly spin around in Space.

Yea, but they don't speed up. It needs another force exerted on an object to make it actually speed up, right?

and quantum theory states that there is an exact integer spin!
nothing can travel ever faster than light! (well...u can theorise but u need proof and there is none!)
u can also not keep an object spinning with infinite torque! the angular momentum of the object will act in the vertical direction thus spreading object out to a maximum angular velocity...
if u want the proof I'LL get it! but trust me, you'll need 6 yrs of physics and maths education!

erm...wow!
it did sound soo... casual! i cant do that again!
erm...ill put sum picks up!
one shows how a ball spinning anti-clockwise will have momentum upwards (thumb in direction of arrow, fingers curling in direction fo spin)https://www.theforumsite.com/pics.php?pic=1083
other shows how if keep putting a force on an object, depending where it is the object will start to deform in direction of lines...https://www.theforumsite.com/users/steraw04/pics/1084
hope it helps a little...
all can add is...HE's NOT A SCIENTIST!
