we can't all get to know everybody; we'll always miss out on what somebody has to offer simply because we have to pick and choose who we interact with... there are too many people in the world to take the time to get to know them all, and picking based on how we mesh with their good and bad qualities is a pretty efficient and effective way to decide who will and won't impact our lives...
This makes sense, I guess when I think about it I tend to steer around alot of people myself. Not because they're unlikable but just because I can't relate.
