A big day is here!!! A day of sales, crowds and big deals! I love Black Friday!
Comfortable shoes, big sack, credit card and keen sight ? that what you need ; )
But my husband says that ?wise housewives? profit from various apps. I googled a bit and found TGI Black Friday, specially designed for the day, and Mall Maps no to get lost.
I even installed ShopSavvy to my iPhone (cause the app is free) and it really turned out to work!!! It scans the bar code somehow and then says where the same item can be found at the best price. I liked that!
Are there other apps like that? what do you use to find bargains?

I no longer do black Friday (get crushed in a crowd no thanks). The truth is that some of the "bargains" that you can get are products that are specifically made for B/F. In other words some are not the normal TV's (or whatever) you can buy the rest of the year so they may well have different features & specifications. Thus they may well not be as good as those other models so check the details on the appliance! Also many deals can be had online that are just as good offers as those in the stores, I would much rather not get up at an anti social hour to maybe get something, its not worth it!!

having worked in retail for 20 years now it's all a con. So many times not just on black friday, boxing day, other holidays people come in and go oh WOW that has £200 off we must buy it. I find it crazy that people still fall for this s***. It's only a requirement to have that product at the inflated price in 1 store for a period of 28 days, they can then nationwide drop the price to "sale" price when in reality it's only worth that to begin with.

I used to work in furniture sales, long time ago and it would have a much heralded boxing day sale. 2 months before the boxing day sale all the prices would go up by 10-20% so on the boxing day sale they would magically go down 10-20% but in reality you are just paying what they would ordinarily cost.

Well, I just saw on TV that a furniture store is having The Biggest Sale EVER!!

I guess it's bigger than last month's Biggest Sale EVER!!

...Or the Biggest Sale EVER!! they had for Presidents day ... for 3 weeks (Held Over!! due to Demand!!)
