actually, the policeman I handed it to had a right arsey attitude on him, tutted at me and rolled his eyes! think the paperwork he had to do didnt please him, he prob kept the money and binned it so he didnt have to bother and no, my time, effort, petrol and good deed deserved the effort of a thank you if they did get their wallet back
