I watched the whole thing and he never once mentioned god being the hicks particle
He states it as a particle that is merely undiscovered. Like neutrinos, that he talks about, that were discovered in 2000. By calling the hicks particle "God" you're simply replacing the unknown with religious assumptions- the basis of creationism.

you may well be right,im also basing my opinion on other theorys and assumptions to be honest but it is on the basis the scientists are working on at present(my sons studying quantum physics at uni hes got a closed lecture with this guy tomorrow )so i suppose it all boils down to different peoples perceptions.the whole basis is a scientific assumption in a way untill it is proved fact or not as with religion.i actually didn't mean god in a religious way i was just trying to explain my perception of the facts known so far.great thing about science is its investigating the true facts.the facts that come to light will prove the scientist, the religious and the average joes perceptions/assumptions to be fact or fiction given time.
i feel that time may be closer than we think
but thats just my opinion
Why all the 'dunno' icons?
Why are you even writing if you don't know?
Wouldn't it be better if you went into a quiet corner somewhere, closed your eyes and waited until you did know, before you began writing anything.

Lamentations 3:22-33
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.
28 Let him sit alone in silence,
for the LORD has laid it on him.
29 Let him bury his face in the dust?
there may yet be hope.
30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.
31 For men are not cast off
by the Lord forever.
32 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion,
so great is his unfailing love.
33 For he does not willingly bring affliction
or grief to the children of men.
God bless you
