I watched the whole thing and he never once mentioned god being the hicks particle He states it as a particle that is merely undiscovered. Like neutrinos, that he talks about, that were discovered in 2000. By calling the hicks particle "God" you're simply replacing the unknown with religious assumptions- the basis of creationism.

@gingernproud Said

you may well be right,im also basing my opinion on other theorys and assumptions to be honest but it is on the basis the scientists are working on at present(my sons studying quantum physics at uni hes got a closed lecture with this guy tomorrow )so i suppose it all boils down to different peoples perceptions.the whole basis is a scientific assumption in a way untill it is proved fact or not as with religion.i actually didn't mean god in a religious way i was just trying to explain my perception of the facts known so far.great thing about science is its investigating the true facts.the facts that come to light will prove the scientist, the religious and the average joes perceptions/assumptions to be fact or fiction given time. i feel that time may be closer than we think but thats just my opinion

Why all the 'dunno' icons?

Why are you even writing if you don't know?

Wouldn't it be better if you went into a quiet corner somewhere, closed your eyes and waited until you did know, before you began writing anything.

Weak spines + hypocrisy = confusion/chaff

Lamentations 3:22-33
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."

25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;

26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.

27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.

28 Let him sit alone in silence,
for the LORD has laid it on him.

29 Let him bury his face in the dust?
there may yet be hope.

30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.

31 For men are not cast off
by the Lord forever.

32 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion,
so great is his unfailing love.

33 For he does not willingly bring affliction
or grief to the children of men.

God bless you

Sorry, but everything you hold tightly you have read in books as well.

From the vast majority of facts you believe, to the method of experiment, to the ethics you hold, to how to write a conclusion etc etc etc.

Take a bow.

God bless you.

Yeah, you do.

Your lecturer says jump, you say how high. Every time.

You ever hear Satan sing this one: "They say jump and you say how high, you're brain dead you, got a f***ing bullet in the head"

God bless you.

Let's see, so I read in a textbook "hot air is less dense than cold air". Normally this isn't followed by "So sayeth the LORD", but by a rational explanation of why hot air is less dense than cold air with maybe some empirical demonstrations, theoretical support etc. Hell, I might even do a little experiment just to test it.

If I read in a book:
"When the sky above was not named,
And the earth beneath did not yet bear a name,
And the primeval Aps?, who begat them,
And chaos, Tiamat, the mother of them both,
Their waters were mingled together,
And no field was formed, no marsh was to be seen;
When of the gods none had been called into being."
With no explanation of how this information was ascertained, no way of validating it, not substantiation whatsoever, I'm not going to believe it. Spot the difference.

The proof is in the fruit.

Also, Christ, the Son of God, nailed to a pole, is proof of God's love and Sovereignty.

Buffalo if you believe that guy is God then you need to stop, look and listen.

Interesting to note that you believe God would make Himself human though.

God bless you.

So God didn't make himself human by sending Christ (One part of the trinity) to Earth?

Otherwise the swine and the dogs would take it and abuse it.

My Dogs don't abuse anything. The Swines did though - they gave us flu.

In the book you love to quote, God does make himself human... His name is Jesus. Heard of him?

It was interesting to hear BB acknowledge that it is possible that God would do such a thing.

Even though BB denies the existence of God. Except for the times when he kind of believes in a god. But not the God of Scriptures. The Scriptures are wrong about God. BB knows that he is right about that. Just ask him, he'll tell you. There may be a god, but he isnt sure what it is, but he is certain the Scriptures are wrong. Something like that anyway.

God bless you.
