Google Chrome

Can anyone explain what is the difference between the Google that we use normally and the newer Google Chrome?? I tried to use it and find it far more difficult to try get a certain web page than with Google -- is it I am wrong?? What are the benefits supposed to be??

I love google chrome. I love typing in a find field in the address bar. I LOVE the thumbnails of the most used websites.
I love love love it!

Yes, as that is what I have set as my homepage. Can't get Chrome vertion to allow me have a favourite bar or anything.

Oh, well the difference is www.google.com is a search engine and Google Chrome is a web browser.

Is there a bar under your address bar? If not, hit Ctrl + B

Once you're on a page you want to favorite, hit the star that's next to the URL bar. Then select the "Bookmarks Bar" folder. Or you can just highlight the URL of the page you're on and drag it onto the bookmarks bar.

I just had this site lock up on me on Flock,and went to google Chrome.
I never have problems with the chrome.I like it

I think like everything else, it takes us a bit to get use to something, I dont like the not having favorites on chrome.I cant figure out how to save a page there, I do think its just me.
and I use flock all the time anyway,Chrome is just a back up for me

It's faster than IE for sure. But for some reason it doesn't like coming to the forum site, it often crashes out on me here. also I had a problem with auto google updates which slowed my system down, seems better now though.. weird

Well, I got Google chrome open and it was working very fast and then suddenly I see I'm on google again and it's slower plus won't do some things,what ever happened??!!

Google Chrome is a web browser, like Firefox or Internet Explorer or Opera.

Any of them allow you to access google.com, which is a web page.
