Ok, I posted my response in the thread in question.

Now, if the OP could post their peer-reviewed journal article sources supporting their position that would be great.

If not, I'll assume they dont' exist.

There seem to be two very distinct schools of thought regarding climate change, those who think human activity is directly responsible for it and those who regard it as a natural phenomenon (which to a certain degree I imagine it is). Surely, though, pollution, over-use of natural resources and deforestation, to name but three serious problems, are having an adverse effect on the planet. So, even if climate change is completely natural we're still doing untold damage.

Mother nature has copious energy. Getting her to share is the problem. With that in mind, the climate change, global warming hysteria has at least one practical result. It generates interesting ideas about efficient conversion of energy.

I recently went to a meeting in which entrepreneurs looking for investors said that they wanted to farm the ocean by pumping nutrients to the surface. Theoretically that would increase plankton production which could be converted to food or energy.

As my great grandkids would say, it seems like a totally cool idea.
