Apparent success!

I went into the 'Start' menu ... Internet Options ... Internet Settings ... Internet Properties ... General ... Temporary Internet Files ... and changed the selection to 'Everytime I visit the webpage'.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I've cleared my cache ... but still no joy ... I think my next step will be to change my browser ... I have a questoin though ... when it comes to cache ... should I set it high or low? ... it was set at a max of 1024mb ... I've reduced it to the suggested max of 250mb.

not sure what is "good" but mine is 50mb.

Jeez ... hell of a distance from 1024mb down to 50mb ... but I'll change it to that and see what the difference is!

Wil Mr Tortoise become Mr Hare ... or will I see any difference?

Hmm that's strange. I've had problems before with the cache not clearing in some browsers. Sometimes I think the ISP or a proxy server might cache a file when it's not supposed to.

I don't usually do anything with cache size, I just use whatever default the browser has. I guess if your internet charges based on how much bandwidth you use it could make sense to increase the size of your cache.
