8 Year-Old Girl Raped and Blamed for it

Those parent's and other family memeber reacted the way they did out of fear; It's where they are coming from mentally, as a result of living in Liberia..

They fear if they show anger, or prosecute, they may be killed..

That poor little girl..

Thats effing messed up. For the girls sake, I sure hope she gets to taken into state care and PRESS CHARGES!!!

And what the eff are the parents of they there boys have to say about this? Sheeh on of them was only 9 years old...how they heck do they even get ideas like that??

This kind of denial is unfortunately common in many cultures where women are seen as nothing more than sex objects and house keepers.

I dont know much about Liberian culture, but im guessing this is the case here.

Its disgusting, no doubt, and all their children should most definitely be removed from the mothers care, however also, the community in general needs to be re-educated on sexual misconduct rather than just blamed.

Ignorance is the actual problem here in my opinion.

My sentiments exactly. If you're going to move to another country, you should adapt to its culture. This here, is clearly not the case.
