Mr Chilipepper, I normally don't care if someone insults a band that I like, but Brand New is the best band that is playing today. No one can compete with Jesse Lacey's lyrics. Their guitar riffs aren't easy when you are singing. And just because you don't like Emo doesn't mean you can say THEY SUCK BIG TIME, DAMNIT!!! I didn't say the Red Hot Chili Peppers suck. Never say a band sucks, especially when they won ROLLINGSTONE BAND OF THE YEAR!!!

Two bands that i think are awesome that no one i know has heard of are, Typhoid Mary and Rise Against.

How about Jack Off Jill? They're a great band, with a female singer and awesome beats and lyrics. Kind of morbid (if you want to call it that) but still fantastic. I recommend "Strawberry Gashes."

Ruins, japanese band with two guys on drums and base.
Melt Banana, japanese speedmetal.. yes, they Are fast...and loud.. and pretty much max of anything else you'd associate with the term speedmetal.
