It seems that more and more people are having trouble keeping their heads above water financially. What are your thoughts?

We've made it through worse crashes as a country. I think we'll get through this relatively easily.

This reminds me of what was said during the Clinton years. Are you better off now than you were four years ago?
The truth is, it doesn't matter what the economy or who the President is. I am better off now than I was during the Clinton years, because during the Clinton years I had was laid off, started my own business and had to work my arse off to make a dime.
Not all people you see are products of the economy. Some bad things just happen to good people.
Things are turning around, and not because of Obama, but because things have a way of going up and down.

Agreed. I always had a problem with blaming or praising a President for how the economy's doing. We're a Capitalist, not a Communist society. The President has very little effect on the economy, and I'd personally like to keep it that way.
