Where in the hell, do you find the real free credit report without shuffling out the $1.00 or so to get it?

its telling me i have to pay since i used it before.

Not it's not "free". You need to enroll in the "Triple Advantage" program. It's a misleading commercial and there are parodies of it all over.

Here's a real one.
But www.annualcreditreport.com does and allows you to not accept their offers and goes through with the reports from all three agencies.

When the offer other 'services' that you can pay for, just say no and you can get the report for free... once a year.
