This is a lengthy article on school bus advertisement. Houston Texas is about to begin this program and parents are furious. I can see where they may have to draw lines. What about advertising condoms, Mini-pads, political races? Obesity in American Children and now they advertise Mc Donald's on their bus?

Our government is stating that obesity in our children are a result of fast foods. Just thought that would be an oxymoron.

yes it does not seem to be the best place for an advert espsh if thay are trying to drop the obesity rate. I agree

It seems to me that schools (of all places) can come up with other ideas to raise money. It's a place of education for crying out loud! Use your brain and come up with an answer. If advertising on school buses won't work, do something else.

Nuff said.

I remember when we took school field trips, and for lunch we'd usually stop at a nearby McDonald's or Wendy's. I wonder if schools still do that, or if they just drop the kids off in front of a GNC to eat some organic Gingko pills.
