Same here..and that's probably why they didnt say anything..and the stewardesses weren't upset because they knew the co-pilot could manage..but if the passengers caught wind of it! God knows what could have happened in the panic, windows could get broke, people sucked out the windows...all sorts of freak things..

I think people in general tend to look for reasons to b**** and moan. I do a fair bit of it myself. If they had been told about it, then they would all be complaining about the panic it caused. No doubt some halfwit is scheming to sue the airline for some perceived trauma caused by what happened.

I'm glad they made it down safely.
