More like the bankruptcy of GM is further proof American car companies have been dying a slow death since the 70's. Either that or Japan is secretly taking over our country, starting with Detroit (because, why not Detroit?).

GM would have been out of business entirely over 20 years ago if they didn't globalize.

Not if "protectionist" trade policies were in effect. Contrary to thee constant barrage of media brainwashing, tarriffs make good sense. Unions are not the problem, it's all trade policy.
