Advice for a shy girl?

That is okay Pinky. I am 48 years old, been married twice, the first last 16 years. I am now single and 48 and feel just as I did when I was 20. I am not shy until it is comes to intimacy. Once you do it, the shyness wears off.

But you ARE worthy! You deserve to be happy the same as anyone. I was extremely shy in school, but I have decided that life is too short, to not be enjoyed. What is the discomfort of being rejected, compared to the joy of having someone to share things with?

I don't know if being shy is such a bad thing. Personally I find myself attracted to shy girls, confidence in girls puts me off to be honest. No idea why.

Aw. I did confess to a guy once my feelings but it didn't work out. We're still friends and we talk off and on. He even took the time to search for me on Facebook. A friend said there were a lot of people on there with my name so I was touched he took the time to look for me. I'm a little braver now though but still get shy. Sorry I haven't been around too much lately. Just been so busy with school.
