3.7 is hardly worth mentioning! Although I am glad you did not get a stronger one!

I really would be pissing myself if we did get stronger ones..apparently, we are not on a fault line, dunno how we get them if we are not on one

I've had the experience of feeling two of them. Hard to describe. The first one is hard to recall. Sort of like a bump, no big deal where we were, but all around us was destruction. The second time was 2001, near Seattle. Hubby and I were in the house. We felt like a shudder, then a shaking of the house. First I thought "low flying airplanes". It kept on, then I thought, some type of disaster in space, and debris (engines?--being a chicken little here, the sky is falling, the sky is falling) was falling around us. When it continued still some more, I no longer felt safe in the house (though you are supposed to get in a bathtub or a doorframe), so I went outside (thinking we need to evacuate or something) and I saw all the driveways and roads undulating. Finally it was over, and then all the SAHMs were rushing to nearby schools to get their kids. During 2008 I was in the midwest. Heard the local siren, but I thought there was a fire/wreck somewhere. When it kept going on, I went across the street to the neighbors. Found out it was a tornado alert, everyone was supposed to go to their basements. But heck, half the town was outside looking all around, waiting to see which direction the tornado would come from. Why do people do that, gotta be in the midst of things, or wait until the last minute to take safety precautions?
