I prefer Vista due to it's ease of use and new layout. But the annoying thing is the "are you sure you want to open this application?".

Vista is to XP as XP is to Windows 98. Windows 7 , although I only have the Beta seems to be a step above Vista. The only Dud ,in my opinion, that Microsoft has delivered is Windows ME.

Windows 7 Beta is out? Where did you get it from? Is it downloadable?

What annoys me is that there doesn't seem to be a "remember this action". Every time I turn on the computer I get the same series of warnings because of the software running on my computer at start-up.

You can turn it off, allthough i don't know if it would be advisable to do so or not.

It's not that I don't want them at all. I want to know when an application is starting, just in case there is one that starts without my knowledge/permission, But once I say a program is ok, I want it to remember that. I don't like the all or nothing approach in Vista.

It was available from Microsoft in February... I see they no longer have it available. Perhaps you can find other sources. RC1 is due out shortly

I like Vista.
Have been with it since it came out.
It's plenty fast, no crashes.

I agree with your sentiments if not your use of the bold tag.
