They say marriage 2nd time around is more successful & longer lasting

Is that true for you?
Have you learnt from the "mistakes" you made the first time around?

Only been married once, but yeah learned from my mistakes big time

My first one lasted 9 years and I'm coming up to OUR 18th this year in a second marriage,so does that tell you something??.And as a point of interest I wasn't the one who broke up the first marriage,so I never changed anything.

yes, true in my case. my 1st marriage didnt make it three years and i hated the sight of him after 12 months!!
this time round i am happy, settled and truely in love.
oh and it helps that my second hubby doesnt feel the need to talk with his fists. 1st was an abusive alcoholic who was a nasty looser.

What if one is on their second and the other on their first?

i've been with my husband since i was 16...i don't think i could even imagine starting over with a second one! hahaha but i definitely can see a second marriage being more successful...we learn from our mistakes.

Now I live on my own. I shop at Sainsburys where you can buy a small piece of cucumber for one. One onion and one spud etc.
I picked the most attractive girl on the check out.

She said, "You live on your own don't you ?"

I replied. "Sure, can you tell by what I have bought ?"

Then she said. "No,,,, it's because you are ugly"

We also dont rush into things so much and we grow up!
