, and gallaways respect party is certainley not a kind of "green party" it is an islamic backed paty based in east london, george gallaway bluffed the muslim community there into thinking he was going be there voice in westminster , when all he was really doing was getting back at new labour by taking a parlimentry seat from them because they de-selected him, he is a totall pratt who only chases self glory, pity about the aid convoy the people could prob have done with it, george gallawy would have been better sending the aid quietly and safely to the people instead of jumping on the bandwagon himself for the sake of publicity.

That's a bit harsh.

I didn't say they were a type of green party - I was describing where they are on the political scale ' a bit more left than the green party' and what's wrong with muslims having a voice? Jumping on the band wagon? His party set it up in the first place...

I know he's a bit annoying and vocal and certainly not tactful but he does it for good reasons. He does it because he believes in humanity and people over profit

he does it cos his party relies on the muslim vote!

George Galloway is more prominent as a anti-war speaker and debater than a politician. He is a member of the respect party which is his party. If you read his manifesto he does not just talk about war but social security and taxes.

He has some problems because of his affiliation with people the west dont asociate with. However all for charitble reasons. All ohter allegations are ipso-factso allegations.

The Egyptian governement dont like George Galloway because he critisises there undemocratic ways. I join in with his critisism of the Egyptian governement. My freinds dad is in prison in Egypt for " forging votes " This was a lie, he was arrested because he was Mubaraks only competition.

The Egyptian governemnt have arrested him before when he arrived at Cairo airport and knowing my mothers country well i could tell you that the Egyptian government mobilised these " vandels " for pennys.

His skills as a orator are better than anyone writing or reading this thread...

Well said. Yeah I respect the man because of his principles but I think he could go about things in better ways sometimes. HOWEVER I say this but his party respect has split into Respect and the Socialist Worker Party because the now SWP felt he was TOO reformist and not enough revolutionist.
