if you buy an O2 sim card from a random shop, do you still get priority tickets?

i use the O2 arena for alot of gigs and would like to buy an o2 sim card to get the priority tickets which means you'll be asked if you want a ticket before they go on sale
i was just wondering, if i was to buy a sim card in any old cell phone store would i still get the features?
