EASTENDERS tonights episode an all black cast

To be fair, black people only is sorta racism in itself

They will be talking about it...maybe some viewers will be able to understand from their point of view.

It's not just black people that suffer from racism though is it?

That i dont understand why.
There are numerous all white shows. They are not clasified as racist.
Its my guess that the show will be concentrating on what it was like in the Uk in the 50,s from an older black persons perspective, then going on to how if any, progress has been made, from a youger persons point of view.

Of course not, i dont watch the show much but is there an Asian family in there?
The thing is, there is a black family in there and the producers are obviously using this family to bring certain issues to the forefront.
Of course iv not seen it yet myself, but probably as viewers are familiar with this particular black family, they maybe will get to understand where their comming from!

Personally I just think it's the BBC trying to claw it's way back into the public's good books after the Brand/Ross issue and then Carol Thatcher.

Well anyway, i suppose we must remember that Eastenders reaches alot of people, both young & old from all walks of life.
You must remember there are many people in this country who may have never even met a black person, in person before.
Of course our cities now are pretty much multicultural but not everyone lives in the city!
there are even people in london who have never even had a black friend, i suppose its about educating certain people about difficulties certain individuals from minority backgrounds face in their everyday lives when they live in this country.

Still daft, not sure what EE thinks its gonna get out of it, to me its just an episode about Patrick and his family...who happen to be black.

I love Patrick to and Denise's accent cracks me up!
