the majority are like that.....how the heck do you think obama won..its because hollywood and the media loved him.....obama just sent u.s. soldiers into pakistan...if that was bush who did that people would have said bush is a warhead.....but these hollywood stars arent saying anything like that now.....i guess because war is okay to them if its under a liberal president

Hollywood is a huge political machine. They have survival down to a science. Perhaps if you narrowed this down some of us would respond in a more helpful way. If you don't want an opinion, don't make such a blatantly, stereotypical post.

Actually, according to the 2008 Index of Economic Freedom, Australia is a more economically free nation than the U.S. Therefore, we're more of a socialist nation than they are.

Mate you don't have to be Australian to have an opinion on a topic about US politics. Decisions that the US make impact not just on the US but all of us. Many of our Australian troops were over in Iraq and Afghanistan helping you guys along.
We're not a socialist country, although I can understand why an American who is pro-capitalist might think so.
I'd be interested to hear examples of people from Hollywood who you think are particularly untrustworthy.
Until then, I can only offer that not just Hollywood writers and actors vote. Obama couldn't have won if he only had the support of Hollywood. There are many people who treat HW with the same disdain you do, and they voted for Obama anyway.
I'm not saying I'm 100% right. I'm just saying that's my opinion. That's what a thread is for - to exchange opinions.
